How I Transformed My Love for Fashion Finds into a Thriving Digital Marketing Career While Building Tiff & NY.

Life has a way of pushing us towards our true calling, even when we least expect it. In June 2023, I found myself at a crossroads that would ultimately lead me to create Tiff & NY. After uncovering the painful truth about my ex boyfriend cheating and affairs in my relationship and selling the home I'd lovingly owned for over two years, my carefully planned future suddenly became a blank canvas. There I was – armed with sales profits and a burning desire for change, but standing at the edge of the unknown. The corporate job that once felt secure now felt like a cage, and the thought of investing more years helping others build their dreams while postponing my own started to feel impossible to ignore.



Late-night searches for remote work opportunities turned into something unexpected: a revelation. Instead of finding another job, I discovered an entirely new path. Digital marketing caught my eye, and something clicked. With the same determination that helped me navigate through personal challenges, I made a decision that would transform my journey: enrolling in Columbia Business School Executive Education's Digital Marketing program.

My journey into digital marketing truly began at Columbia Business School's Executive Education program, where I had the incredible opportunity to learn alongside industry titans, including the CEO of Cover Girl and various successful entrepreneurs. The program opened my eyes to the vast potential of digital marketing, particularly through hands-on experience with campaign simulations for American Dream Buhi Bags.

However, despite the valuable theoretical knowledge and networking opportunities, I found myself at another crossroads. While I understood the fundamentals of digital marketing, the path to practical implementation remained unclear. There was no roadmap for finding my audience or establishing my unique voice in the digital space. What followed was a period of intense experimentation, countless late-night research sessions, and valuable lessons learned through trial and error.


The breakthrough came when I decided to align my digital marketing journey with my genuine passion: discovering and sharing trending, affordable fashion finds. This realization led to the birth of Tiff & NY, where I could combine my native born love for NYC style with my growing digital marketing expertise. By focusing on what I naturally enjoyed – curating fashion finds and creating authentic content – I finally found my niche in the vast digital landscape.




After diving deep into research, I discovered that success in digital marketing isn't just about knowing the tools—it's about finding the right partnerships that align with your vision. Through careful selection of affiliate programs, I finally found my groove in creating authentic content that resonates with my audience.


While my Amazon storefront and Meta platforms have allowed me to share my favorite fashion finds—from NYFW-inspired looks to cozy everyday essentials—I've learned that organic growth is just the beginning. My journey through seasonal campaigns and curated collections has taught me valuable lessons about connecting with my community of fashion-forward followers.


But here's the exciting part: this is just the beginning.
